What data we process

• Contact and request data: name, email, phone (optional), arrival/departure dates, number of guests, property of interest and message, submitted via the request form.
• Technical and browsing data: IP address and browser information, processed for form security (anti-spam) and in the hosting technical logs.
• Cookies and similar technologies: see the Cookie Policy.

Purposes and legal bases

• Replying to requests and handling direct bookings — pre-contractual measures and/or our legitimate interest (Art. 6.1 b/f GDPR).
• Ensuring site security and preventing abuse and spam — legitimate interest (Art. 6.1 f).
• Loading third-party content (Google Maps) — consent (Art. 6.1 a), withdrawable at any time.

Recipients and processors

To provide the service we rely on providers that process data on our behalf or as independent controllers:

• Resend — sending the emails generated by the request form.
• Vercel — website hosting.
• Sanity — site content management (does not receive form data).
• Google — Google Maps, only with prior consent.

Transfers outside the EU

Some providers (e.g. Resend, Vercel, Google) may process data outside the EU/EEA. In that case the transfer relies on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and/or participation in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep data

We keep request data for as long as needed to handle it and for the following 24 months, unless otherwise required by law; after that we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

You may exercise at any time the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and withdraw any consent given. To do so, write to lecaraffetouristaccommodation@gmail.com.

Complaint to the Authority

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante, www.garanteprivacy.it).
